Lulu Liu is a London-based couture designer whose global journey through China, Japan, London, Paris and the UAE forms the foundation of her cross-cultural design language.

Trained first in China in art and graphic design, she developed an early artistic eye and a refined sensitivity to colour. Her studies in Film & Animation in Japan sharpened her understanding of movement—how motion, emotion and form can coexist as a single expressive language within a garment.

London refined her technical clarity during her BA Women's Wear studies at the London College of Fashion, while Paris grounded her in the discipline of haute couture through her training at École Lesage Paris, a historic embroidery school within the Chanel Métiers d’Art division. There, she became a Paris-certified Haute Couture designer.

Her collections have appeared on runways in London Fashion week , Paris Fashion week, Beijing Fashion week, Shanghai Fashion week and Dubai Fashion week, yet her value extends beyond the runway. Each piece carries the precision of couture, the fluidity of animation and the cultural memory of Chinese heritage embroidery, crafted in collaboration with master artisans from ateliers recognised for preserving Intangible Cultural Heritage and the techniques of the Four Great Embroideries.
